TOE FRAC SLEEVE

The TOE Sleeve of multistage hydraulic fracturing is a configuration element of the intervention tools for the well completion. It is installed and lowered into the well in the lower part of the completion configuration between the open hole packer and the casing shoe. TOE Sleeve is opened by increasing the hydraulic pressure in the tubing. When TOE Sleeve activated, the inner sleeve is shifted along the housing and fixed, providing connection to the annular. Activation of TOE Sleeve provided by Landing Collar, when the drop ball is pumped below the TOE Sleeve, fixed in the landing collar, tubular pressure increases to a certain level when TOE Sleeve shear pins are cut o inner sleeve pushed by pressure to open position providing connection to annular. After the TOE Sleeve is opened, it remains open, or can be closed by a shifting tool, if RE-FRAC operation is required.
