SLIDING SIDE DOOR (SSD)

Sliding Sleeve is a standard communication device that features a re-closable inner with flow ports designed for flow communication that is installed as a part of the tubing string. It can be operated by a shifting tool deployed on a slickline or coiled tubing. During the sleeve opening, pressure equalization between the tubing and casing annulus is enabled by equalizing holes feature. Sliding Sleeve is used to establish tubing/annulus communication. SSD applications include circulation, acidizing and killing the well as required by the completion program. Due to the enhanced design, the seal pack damage is excluded when moving the inner sleeve.
