CORN landing nipple is installed as a part of the upper or lower completion string. It offers a higher pressure rating and non-selective design with a lower no-go shoulder, locking recess and a polished bore. Typically used at the lower part of the string or in stacked designs with smaller sized nipples at the bottom. Flow control devices with RN-type lock and seal as required with Blanking Plugs, Gauge Hangers,Velocity Valves, Chokes, Equalizing Check Valves can be installed inside the nipple profile. CORN landing nipples are available with various API and premium connections. Maximum OD typically matches the connection OD.
